Over 200 nonprofit professionals and volunteers from organizations of all shapes and sizes converged on Bridge View Center recently at the 4th Annual Southeast Iowa Nonprofit Summit. The mission? To learn about best practices, share ideas and network with one another.
The day couldn’t have been any better. Beginning with an invigorating performance from the Indian Hills Community College Cheer Squad, who really got the crowd pumped up. Then it was on to an entertaining keynote from Liz Nead who shared personal experiences about her own leadership journey. The rest of the day was filled with a myriad of breakout sessions relevant to those working in a nonprofit environment.
Comments heard throughout the day included, “Every session I have attended has been fantastic!” and “I learned so much today!”. We agree, as it was a great learning day for our team as well.
A special thanks to our event partners; United Way of Wapello County, TD&T CPA’s and Advisors, Wapello County Foundation and ISU Extension and Outreach for helping to put on such a great conference for our nonprofit community!
