A new grant funding opportunity is about to open at the Ottumwa Regional Legacy Foundation. The Legacy Youth Alliance is a program is about youth funding youth. The Legacy Youth Alliance will grant up to $10,000 to support youth-led projects or youth-serving organizations. Projects or programs should be responsive to the needs of Wapello County youth.
“The Legacy Youth Alliance committee members are committed to making a positive impact on our youth. They have chosen the areas of education, especially early childhood and post-secondary education attainment, as well as physical, mental and/or social health as high priority areas,” said Amy Nossaman, Grants Program Manager. “This group of high school students are representatives from Pekin, Cardinal, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and Ottumwa School Districts and they are very passionate about making a difference in their communities.”
