As part of the Foundation’s Capacity Program, a new lunch & learn series is now available for grantees wishing to develop more effective skills in securing grants. The series begins with discussing ways to search for and find appropriate funding partners. Subsequent sessions focus on putting together the various elements of a grant application that will enable nonprofits to create a compelling and thoughtful case for funding support. The final session teaches participants how to report back to funders (and to the community) about the work that they are doing in both a qualitative and quantitative way. Nonprofits interested in reserving their spot can email Amy Nossaman or call 641.455.5260. Lunch will be provided free of charge but seating is limited to 20 so don’t delay – the first session will be held March 14, 2017.
